Taber's 2 month B-day!

Taber is 2 months old, and he celebrated by hamming it up to Momma!!!

HE'S SO FLUFFY!!!

Eric and I have been incredibly thrilled with our new house and our awesome, awesome, awesome neighbors. When we had Taber everyone brought over food and presents for both Taber and Deegan which was greatly appreciated. With that said, we decided to institute an annual block party and we kicked it off with a bang. We asked the Castle Rock Fire Department if they could send a fire truck for the kids (and firemen for the mom's) and they came through along with an ambulance. Deegan of course was in hog heaven and they even let the kids play with the fire hose! The picture below is just seconds before Deegan raised the hose and drenched Eric.

Wish they gave mom's a turn ;) JK ... kinda.

Deegan was taking this seriously, he was the only kid that did this 3 times! Maybe he will be a firefighter when he grows up.

Heim Invasion

It has been crazy the last few weeks. It seemed like every Heim was in town and there was no rest for the weary (that means for me). We had big dinners, lots of messes (this went against my neat-freak tendencies) and lots of fun. I am pretty sure Deegan had the time of his life with his cousins. Here are a few pictures before they all arrived, the calm before the storm.

Taber's bath time ... loves, loves, loves his bath.

This was after his first hair cut. I only cut the bottom and did not layer the sides. Hilarious because it got so fluffy on the sides and made him look like an old man balding. Obviously cutting hair is not one of my talents!

1 Month. I have decided Taber is NOT photogenic like his brother. He looks like an alien in this shot but its the best I got. Just know he is way cuter in person and his hair line does not look that bad.

Week 1

Love my boys! We took this picture day one when we came home from the hospital (hence the glazed over look I am giving the camera). Deegan has adjusted better then we thought possible. He LOVES his baby brother and is constantly asking to kiss and hug him which warms our hearts. He has been sleeping the cries at night and has been an "angel" at daycare ... a little scary that is going so smooth.

We have moved to man-on-man defense and Eric has been in charge of Bug. This is day 2 and Deegan is trying out his new pool for the first time. He loved it and it was way more convenient then hauling him to the community pool. I do have to make a side comment that Eric actually looks buff in this picture and the man has not worked out in several years .... irritating.

Happy Boy

Look at that form! He was very serious about coloring and held the crayon like a big boy. I cannot believe how grown up this little man has become. He is using his words, talking in sentences and actually listens to us.

Brother, meet your brother. This was the first time Deegan saw his brother and it was adorable. He pointed out his hat, eyes, nose, etc.

That binkie is half of his face but he loves it. This is new to us as Deegan hated the binkies. There are times that I want to throw the thing across the room or strap it to his head. Those times are in the middle of the night when it falls out of his mouth 10x's in a row.

Taber looks like a hommie-G with his little hat ... too funny but the cutest thing ever! We have been looking at pictures of Deegan and are shocked at how closely they look a like. I will find a picture and show you the comparison another day.
